Stayed for the whole week - the owner was a great guy, very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, we had zero problems or complaints the entire time we stayed.
Sweet staff and nice owners. The rooms are clean and feel homey. Overall a great place to stay near one of the most beautiful natural locations in Texas.
It may not be the fanciest motel, but for the location and price it was very nice! The rooms are older, so there was some wear and tear to the place, but it was kept very neat and clean. No bugs or rodents were seen inside the room, which is impressive considering that it is surrounded by woods. The grounds are kept very tidy. For anyone looking for a nice, clean, and affordable place to sleep in this area, I would highly recommend it. We will be using the them again in the future.
The place isn't bad, it's in the middle of nowhere at the edge of a small town with few people interested in anything that you can't eat... But, they're pleasant and the place is restful so I don't have any complaints.
We made a last minute reservation and weren't able to get in until after 11pm. The man I spoke to was very kind and asked if I needed anything to let him know. When we got there, it was so peaceful and we had an amazing stay. No one else was there at the time we came and I slept very well. My husband and I enjoyed it so much we decided that when ever we come back, we will be staying there again. I love how kind and helpful everyone was. I bumped into the woman who cleans the rooms and she was very kind as well. Thank you for a great weekend stay. It was like hitting a reset button with everything going on.
Mr. John and Wife were very accommodating to us with later check in for my son's highschool bass tournament. We travel all over texas and stay at small family ran facilities to fish. This has been one of the nicest. We are fishermen and not picky on where we lay our head but I will definitely book here each time we go to fish sam rayburn again. Thanks again John God bless yall
Stayed in May 2022. Friendly staff. Clean room. Great A/C! Relaxing pasture scenery all around. Parked boat right at our front door to charge overnite. Will definitely come back for another stay…
